  • Mute when not speaking
  • Engage in the meeting
  • Be responsive to prompts
  • Have an open mind

  • Go to https://kpbsd.instructure.com/
  • Click on Courses
  • Find the course you wish to work on
  • Click on it

  • Go to Canvas

  • Choose course
  • Click + module
  • Name your first module (ie. week 1 distance learning)
  • Lock until date you would like to students to see it
  • Publish right away
  • Repeat for the rest of your modules for the quarter

Modules

  • Go to another course that you would like to bring into the course you were just working on
  • Go to settings a the bottom left
  • Click on sections on the top menu in the middle
  • Click on the section name that is highlighted blue
  • Click “Cross-list this section”
  • Type in the name of the original course
  • Click cross-list
  • Then return to the original course

  • Now all work that you do on this course will be applied to all students in all sections
  • Click the + on the top right of the module you would like to add content to
  • Use the drop down menu to choose type
  • Click link URL to add a document from google drive or a video from youtube
  • Click Assignment to add an assignment
    • Choose due date
    • Choose submission type
    • Click “include assignment when syncing”
    • Choose lock until date
    • Choose due date
  • Click discussion to add an assignment

Adding Content

  • On the left hand side about half way down click people
  • At the top right click +People
  • Type in your admins e-mail
  • In the drop down choose observer
  • Click add

*Can also be done to add a teacher, if you and a colleague would like to share a course as you are teaching the same thing.
