Pricing

Use the Showcase choice board (in the Google slides presentation) to develop an innovation for your promotion tactic that will include your product's price.

The PBL Works Creativity and Innovation Rubric for PBL:6-12 can be used as a sample rubric to grade the showcase product.

Imagine that you were going to set up a lemonade stand. How would you determine what to charge? What types of costs would this small business have? How would you attract customers?

Go to a store, perhaps the same store you previously visited and focus in on the prices or go to a website for a store that sells drinks. Find a comparable product to yours and look at the range of prices. You could also interview a friend or family member and ask them about their drink preferences, the prices of those drinks and how they make purchase decisions about drinks.
