Payment Information

Cost Per Test	$15 (The test actually costs $99. AISD pays the remaining $84.)
How to Pay	ALL payments will be done through PayK12. Cash and check are accepted in special cases. This will be handled directly with our bookkeeper. The test being paid for should then be shared with me in an email sent by the student or parent.
Important Notes	When paying for your test, be sure to use the same name you use with College Board. Make sure you pay for EVERY test you want to take. AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism students can register for this test in the Spring with NO additional fees. That only applies to AP Physics C: E&M.

Extra Fees	Students will add a $40 late fee for any orders placed between 3pm on November 10th and 3pm on March 10th. This will make the total cost of the test $55. All tests ordered after March 10th will be the total cost of the test, $99. Moving your test to “late testing” (specified dates after regular testing) might incur a $40 fee. College Board will waive the fee for some situations so please reach out.

Payment Information

Extra Fees Cont.	Tests can be cancelled with a full reimbursement until 3pm on November 10th. It is a process, though, so don’t put it off. Cancellation of tests after 3pm on November 10th will not be refunded their test fee and incur a $40 fine. Students who do not show up for their test will not be refunded their test fee and will owe an additional $40. If this is due to an emergency, please reach out RIGHT AWAY! I will call about getting it waived, but I have to know within a small window of time.

Financial Aid

Free and reduced lunch students are already receiving the lowest possible College Board price by only paying $15 per test.

However, I do NOT want cost to ever be a reason a student does not test. If you need financial aid for your test, please reach out. Requests need to be made prior to the November 10th deadline,

as we do not have the funds to cover the cost of late fees as well as the test fee itself.

For those who feel they can, we will have a “Pay It Forward” option on our PayK12. As a program without a real budget, this goes a long way in helping us cover the needed testing scholarships.

A quick note on PayK12

We have little to no control over the system. Any problems will have to be taken to their company customer service line.
Refunds are only done by transaction. This means, for example, that if you decide to cancel one test, but still take the other two you paid for, we will need to refund all three that were in the transaction and then have you pay again for the two you still want to take.
When paying, you have two options:

Pay for each test separately. The entire transaction would need to take place for each test on its own. This would allow us to refund only the test you want to cancel and avoid the refund and repay situation. This does mean, however, you will incur a processing fee with each purchase, which is not ideal.
Put all the tests you need to take in your basket and pay in one transaction. This means only one processing fee, but it does put the refund issue into play, which is, again, not ideal.

We apologize that these are the options. We don’t get to make these decisions.

Payment is only one step of the process.
Ordering an AP Test is a TWO STEP PROCESS.
In addition to your payment, you MUST be registered in every class in AP Classroom.

Accommodations for AP Testing

If you have accommodations- 504s or IEPs - for Martin, you have to request those SEPARATELY with College Board. The process takes a little while and needs to be started ASAP. Reach out to your counselor and Mrs. Blanchard for help.
