  • The AICE Diploma must be earned within a 3-year period 

  • Most students complete the diploma during their 10th-12th grades 

  • It can be possible to earn the diploma in less time 

  • A total of at least 7 AICE credits must be earned, including one from each group + Global Perspectives

  • AICE diploma + 100 community service hours �= full amount of Bright Futures Scholarship

Additional Requirements

  • FOREIGN LANGUAGE
    • 2 consecutive years (ex: Spanish 1, Spanish 2)
    • Most state universities require foreign language credits; not just in Florida
    • Conservatories / Private schools/ BFA programs/ Tech colleges/Community (2 year) colleges: may not require
  • Please make sure you are familiar with your intended universities specific requirements
    • Use the college & career room to spend time researching 
    • Reach out to schools and ask for specifics if you are not sure 
  • This is not a Florida graduation requirement; however, it is required to graduate from MSA with your AICE Curriculum distinction.
  • MSA offers:
  • Spanish I, II, III, & IV Honors �& French I, II, III, & IV Honors
  • For any questions on when to fit foreign language into your high school plan, see your high school counselors in the HS Student Center
