This was a Native American
class project, that we worked
in groups of 8 or 9. Each of
us had to do one slide. We
were almost done with our slides when they were accidentally shared with the whole district. But, even though some were deleted we learned to work around it. I think there was a lot
that we could all learn from this project.
Native American Region Project
Today we created a poster on a website called Canva. It was super fun and it taught us about graphic design.I think we could use this website for a lot of projects
because you can make other things on it besides posters.
I did my poster about travel because I love airports and
plane rides, and the excitement of traveling to new places.
Canva
This was a kindness poster
I made for a project on the book “ Wonder.” I think
I would say this to people who treat others unkindly, because then they would understand the power of kindness and kind words. And that a simple kind word, can completely change a how a person feels on the inside.
“Wonder” Kindness Poster
This is a kindness poster , that I made on Canva. I think
I would say this to people who treat others unkindly, because then they would know that even the very simplest acts of kindness like a warm smile, can always brighten up anyone’s day, because all it takes is a smile for a person to feel the pleasure that you took the time to send an act of kindness, so they can feel good about others and themselves inside and out.

Thinglink
Today, we created a Thinglink to show/ represent all the different parts of a plant structure. I thought this project was fun, because we got to combine both Sumo Paint and Thinglink. First we all found the plant that we liked on google images, then drew it on Sumopaint. After that we took a screenshot, or (Command, Shift, 4) and dragged the image onto Thinglink so we could label the different parts of the plant. I think these sites are useful for drawing something, and then creatively labeling it to describe what the drawing is about.
Androidify Halloween
This is a Androidify I created at Google Play for Halloween.
It was fun because we got to create an Android that we got to dress up in any costume we liked and afterwards share It!
It was a fun experience, because we got to dress up an android and customize it as we wished. Afterward everyone got to pick a different move for the android. I dressed mine up as Santa Claus.
Thankful Voki
Today I created a Voki describing what I was thankful for. I am thankful for friends, family and all of my teachers who support me and encourage me to do my best. This was a fun project because I got to create a Voki and choose the character I wanted it to be.
Here is the link for my Voki character:

Christmas Tree
This is a Christmas Tree I made in Hour of Code. It was fun because my light decoration will actually be happening/ lighting up the tree for Michigan at the White house! Made with Code is a fun website, because it shows you
the endless possibilities
of what you can create with code.
Powtoon
There are so many different uses for
this website, with Powtoon you are
able to create studio Powtoons like
cartoon episodes, or you can create
Powtoon slides, that unlike presentations,
stream seamlessly, with elegant designs.
This is the future of creating easier,
faster, and more high- quality
presentations. The possibilities for
Powtoon creations are truly endless.
Even now companies like Starbucks,
Cisco, and Ebay are using Powtoon.
Today, we created videos/ presentations on a site called “ Google Story Builder”. It allows you to construct videos which involve different characters editing previous writings. Google Story Builder also allows you to add music to your finished product. I think this web-tool is useful, because you can demonstrate how to do things and use a variety of characters to accomplish it in an artistic way.

Technology has made me think differently about everything and has made me realize all the endless possibilities which have took so much time to do can be accomplished with typing a few keys on the keyboard. I have used it to express my creativity when exploring sites such as: PowToon, Canva, Sumo Paint, Haiku Deck, Thinglink, and even Google Draw. These sites include fun tools that even the worst of artists can create the most beautiful things.
I have used these sites to create many amazing things that before these lessons I had never even known were possible.
