Middle School Players:

  • Eastview Players : Gifted and Talented Form Complete this form and submit to your child’s middle school. If it is approved your child will be able to register. It could take up to 2 weeks for approval.

Physical: ALL participants are required to have a current physical (within last three years) on file. If your physical is more than three years old, or will expire during the season you will not be allowed to register or participate.

*There will be NO bus provided to tryouts. Please connect with upperclassman if needing transportation.

PRACTICE

Practice will be held daily with a varying start time. Practice times will run anywhere from 3-7pm.

  • Check BAND app for weekly practice schedule.
  • Both V and JV will practice on Thunder Field (Eastview practice turf), with one practice being held at Eagan practice turf.
  • Occasional chalk talks/film will happen throughout the season and will be communicated prior to the chalk talk meetings.
  • Lifting will be a part of the season. We will fit it in prior to field time as available.
  • Come prepared for any weather, every day! Bring cleats and sneakers daily and be prepared for any type of practice; fitness, indoor, outdoor.

GAMES

  • Game schedule is on South Suburban Conference (SSC) website - southsuburbanconference.org
  • Eagan Girls Lacrosse page & Band is up-to-date / game schedule linked
  • All home games will be played at Eastview Stadium (JV on Thunder Field turf) and one game at Eagan High School (Senior Night).
  • Bussing will be provided to and from some away games. There will sometimes be separate busses to the games for JV and V, same bus back. Pick up and drop off at EVHS lower level west entrance (by Thunder Field practice turf).

  • RSVP required by March 15th - so we can plan for food and seating
  • Dinner provided

Duluth Trip - May 8th and 9th - Varsity and JV

  • Team will travel via Coach bus
  • Friday Scrimmage against Proctor/Hermantown
  • Saturday game against Duluth East
  • Meals - Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast at Hotel, Box lunch on bus on way up and home. Suggest packing some snacks for bus
  • Hotel: Tru by Hilton, Duluth Mall Area
    • Boosters have secured rooms for all athletes and coaches
    • Parent room block information is available in band and by QR - $259, block will be released April 8th. The link will be emailed again to parents this week and is available in band

The Booster Club supports the team and girls lacrosse program.

The money from the dues has provided:

  • Shooter Shirts/Pinnies/Uniforms

Uniform Deposit: $150

Provide a check at uniform distribution and it will be destroyed upon proper return. *Different check from booster dues.

  • $20 Donation for random square with a chance to win
    • Donation goes to help cover the cost of the Bus/Hotel fee for Duluth Trip

  • Randomized numbers calculated by�Excel spreadsheet formula
  • Any empty squares will be claimed by EVE.

PICTURES/PANORAMA/VINYL SENIOR BANNERS

Media Day: Tuesday April 7 @ 3 PM at EVHS by Valley Images photography

  • Individual Player, Class, Team, and All Program pictures taken for game programs, yearbooks, etc.
  • Families will be able to purchase pictures from Valley Images, if desired
  • Vinyl Senior Banners: Each Senior will have a vinyl banner that will stay up at the Eastview field throughout the season. These will be paid for by the boosters.

  • This is a kick off for the season.
  • This is a great opportunity for girls to meet their teammates and parents to meet other parents.
  • This is also a time to collect any missing booster dues, uniform deposits, etc.
  • Girls will pick up uniforms & shooter shirts after dinner. Uniform check due. $150 deposit, returned at end of season. Check.
