Roundtable Discussion Format

  • 7-8 Students & 2-4 Experts
  • 3 minute presentation, 3 minutes Q&A
    • Give quick intro on country/demo + issue (1 min)
    • Pro Tip: talk mainly about your solutions (2 min)
  • No slides, just talking
  • Notecards welcome, but maintain eye contact
  • Prepare a question for another student
  • Listen respectfully
  • It’s okay to say, “I don’t know” to a question!

Expand

  • Challenge yourself to build upon your solution! Avoid too much context on country/issue

  • Take advantage of your mentors and teachers!

​

  • Avoid procrastination and practice! T-minus 2 weeks
