G) One who does jatra of Shatrunjay is definitely a ‘Bhavi’ soul (one who will surely go to Moksh)

  1. This tirth (pilgrim) is known as the King of all tirths

B) And so it is called as ‘Tirthadhiraj’ (king of all tirths)

C) Shatrunjay is the most holy tirth

D) This is the tirth where infinite souls have attained Moksh

E) Shatrunjay tirth is also known by more than 108 names

F) Aadinath Dada is the Mulnayak Pratima (main idol)

K) And that is why this tirth is also known as ‘Pundarikgiri’

H) Kartak Sud 15 , Fagan Sud 13, Chaitra Sud 15 , Viashakh Sud 3 , Vaishakh Vad 6 (Jinalay’s anniversaries) are few days when thousands of people come to this holy place for jatra

I) Everyday whoever does jatra of Shatrunjay is given ‘Bhaatu’ (free food)

J) This is the tirth where lord Rushabhdev’s (Aadinath’s) gandhar(disciple) Pundarik Swami attained Moksh

E) The story of this tirth says that war was going on between Jarasangh and Shree Krishna

A) Shankeshwar tirth’s huge and grand derasar (temple) is located right in the middle of the Shankeshwar village

B) Derasar’s Mulnayak Pratima is of Lord Shankeshwar Parshvanath

C) This pratima is white in colour and it is last chovisi’s miraculous pratima

D) Aashadhi Shravak had placed 3 tirthankar pratimas in Charup , Khambhat and Shankeshwar

I) There are 52 other Jinalays (derasars) in the surroundings of the derasar of Shri Shankeshwar Parshvath

 

F) That time Jarasangh used his ‘Jara’ (magic) and made Shri Krishna’s army to sleep

G) Shri Krishna as told by Lord Neminath used the pakshal of Shankeshwar Parshvanath and sprinkled it upon his sleeping army

H) Soon the entire army was awake and fine

A) This tirth is also nown as ‘Ujjayantgiri’ and ‘Raivatgiri’

C) Black coloured Mulnayak pratima is of Lord Neminath

D) This pratima is the oldest amongst all the present Jin pratimas in the world

E) Lord Neminath’s Diksha , Kevalgnyan and Nirvan Kalyanak have taken place on this holy place

A) Mulanayak pratima is of Lord Shantinath

B) Lord Shantinath’s , Lord Kunthunath’s and Lord Arnath’s Chyavan (coming into mother’s womb) , Janma (birth) , Diksha and Kevalgnyan – 12 such important kalyanaks have taken place on this wonderful tirth

C) Lord Aadinath’s Parna (breaking the fast) was done with Ikshu Ras (sugarcane juice) on this holy place by Shreyanskumar

D) This great day is remembered today as ‘Akshayatritiya’

G) The day since the pratima has been placed, an Akhand Jyot is there (continuously burning lamp)

A) This tirth is one of the 5 main tirths’s of Shatrunjay

B) This tirth is very near to Shatrunjay

C) Mulnayak Lord Shri Sacha Sumatinath’s black coloured pratima is placed in the tirth

D) This pratima was found under a land in a village

E) The moment the pratima was found all the diseases and problems of the villagers were solved

F) So people named the pratima as ‘Sacha Sumatinath” (Real Sumatinath)

B) Second tirthankar Lord Ajitnath’s white coloured pratima is placed here

E) King Kumarpal had built this Jinalay
