About The Anywhere School

This past year, dining tables became desks. Chat rooms became classrooms. School is no longer just one place–it’s many.

Now, we have the unique opportunity to turn this new normal into a better normal. And it starts with your invitation to The Anywhere School 2021, a free livestream event that gives education leaders, IT administrators, and teachers the product updates and tools to prepare for – and rebuild – the future of learning.

There are three broadcast times to accommodate our global audience:

Americas: June 22, 12pm–1:15pm PST

Asia Pacific: June 23, 12p–1:15pm AEST

Europe: June 23, 12pm–1:15pm BST

About this toolkit

The purpose of this toolkit is to provide you with information and resources so you can help us spread the word about The Anywhere School 2021 with your networks on social media. We encourage everyone using or interested in Google for Education to register.

In the following slides you’ll find text, images, and links to help you craft social media posts about The Anywhere School.

We’ll continue to add to this deck until the day of the event, so be sure to check back for more content.

Ways to share

There are a few ways you can share information and invite your followers and community to register for The Anywhere School.

  1. Customize your profile photo on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google account, etc. using our profile photo filters. Get started on slide 6.
  2. Update your email signature to include information about The Anywhere School event using the image on slide 9.
  3. Create and post from your social media accounts. Starting on slide 10, you will find text, images, and links that you can use to craft a post inviting your followers to The Anywhere School.
  4. Share Google for Education’s social media posts about the event. You can do this by retweeting/resharing from our Twitter and Facebook pages. You can also retweet/reshare and add a comment/quote of your own encouraging your followers & friends to register for the event.

Important notes:

  1. If you have a unique registration link, please use it whenever you post.
  2. Be sure to include #TheAnywhereSchool hashtag when talking about the event.

Use the template linked below to create a customized profile photo for social media, letting your networks/communities know that you’ll be attending The Anywhere School.

To get started, click here and you will be prompted to make a copy of the template. Add your profile photo (see example to the right as a guide). Right click on your photo and select Order > Send to back to ensure the colorful frame is visible.

Next, save your image as a .jpg by going to File > Download > JPEG image (.jpg, current slide).

Finally, update your profile photo on any social media accounts and invite your community to register for the event.
