Third Grade is headed to Dollywood September 18, 2025! The cost of this trip is $130 (students) $140 (adults) and may be paid by sending a check/cash to school. All money is nonrefundable.
Checks and cash may be sent beginning August 18, 2025. You may pay in full or two payments, and all money is due by September 3, 2025. Please mark payments with your child and/or chaperone’s name.
Each student is allowed to have one parent or guardian chaperone. This is a great opportunity for our students to experience in the real world what we learn about in school, and we look forward to having you come with us to help make this a successful trip!
Thank you,

FAQs:
Can I drive my car and follow the bus?
No. SES policy is such that no parents, chaperones, or others with our group may follow the bus.
Can my child bring money for souvenirs and/or extra food?
Yes. Your child will be responsible for his/her money, and it will be up to the chaperone and group to decide at which stores, restaurants, games, etc. they will stop. Students should not bring more money than you are comfortable with them losing.
Can electronics be brought?
Yes. Electronics will be left on the bus at all times. SES, teachers, and chaperones will not be responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
What do I do if I’m chaperoning and I don’t ride rides?
Chaperones are expected to stay with their students at all times. If there is an occasion when you are not going to ride a ride, you must stand in line with the student(s) until they board the ride, and you then must wait in an area where you can see them get off as soon as the ride stops (e.g. on the ramp right outside the gate).
Can my child ride with students from other classes?
Students will be grouped according to class and must stay with their assigned chaperone; however, groups may walk around with whomever they choose.
What if I’m late?
Buses will leave promptly at 6:30 AM. If you’re late, your child will need to either stay with you or attend school by going to the designated room when the bell rings.
Does Dollywood allow bags?
Yes. You must enter through a metal detector, and all bags are subject to be searched.
What time do I need to pick up my child?
If you are not going to Dollywood with your child, be at the school by 7:00 pm.
