Type 1 Report Submission Process

  • Internal Approval Process: the 2024 Type 1 reports must be cleared by Initiative Leads or Impact Platform Directors before submission to PPU. If the Leads/Directors are not available, approval should be deferred to the Initiative Co-Lead or the Initiative Senior Director.

  • Type 1 Reports submission deadline: Friday, 28 March 2025 to performanceandresults@cgiar.org. �PPU will acknowledge receipt of your submission. 
  • The sooner your report is received, the sooner you will receive back the formatted version for final review and submission.
  • Photos for inclusion in the report can be submitted into the designated Microsoft Teams folder available for Initiative, Platforms and SGPs. For photos, include captions and credits. Use this folder also for any self-created diagrams/graphs for sections 4,5 and 6.

The Outcome Indicator Module

The Outcome Indicator Module has been developed to help Initiatives, Platforms and SGPs:�

It will remain open through Q1 2025 to support submission of the Type 1 Report. Though optional, we encourage use for the following two reasons:

  1. It simplifies your 2024 annual report preparation, making it easier to track targets vs. achieved results and directly link to reported results using the module.
  2. It ensures information is stored in a central repository for future use, supporting the new portfolio, historical tracking of results and targets, and maintaining continuity across reporting cycles.

Type 1 report

Templates and design mock-ups are available on the P&R Hub.

  • Major change: the focus will be on cumulative data and progress from 2022 to 2024, with a particular emphasis on key achievements in 2024. The Adaptive Management section has been removed.

Photos for inclusion in the report can be submitted into the designated Microsoft Teams folder available for Initiative, Platforms and SGPs. For photos, include captions and credits. Use this folder also for any self-created diagrams/graphs for sections 4,5 and 6.

  • Initiatives are required to provide one- to two-sentence caption explaining each diagram or graph in the report.​
