Rejuvenating the mind is not always achieved by positive self-intervention, or therapeutic conversations when there has been past traumatic experiences and their lasting imprints that trigger negative behavioral patterns and emotional triggers.
Conventional therapy techniques, although useful in many ways, sometimes do not yield desired results for patients that have unresolved past trauma of any kind, even after considerable time has passed, because the conscious mind does not retain traumatic imprints and the unconscious mind will frequently hijack conscious efforts to achieve self-improvement.
The latest advancements in neuroscience research reveal an intricate relationship between the body and unconscious and conscious mind. New approaches to understanding the mind/body relationship lead to new approaches to facilitate recovery.
Unresolved trauma is most often held captive within the corporeal vessel and unconscious mind, and therefore needs to be addressed through techniques that speak to those areas of the mind and body to bring it back to its natural healthy state.
Just as speedily as trauma led to a lifetime of detrimental conditioning, it can just as quickly be resolved with a recently reconfigured mental outlook.
