Space and accessbility for mobility impaired, hearing impaired or other disabilities

Space should be available for those who may need time away to compose themselves (green room)

Panels need to be balanced

Some panelists may require physical or financial assistance to attend

The space you’re in should feel safe for everyone there.

First Aid Kit and information on nearest medical facilities

A place for people to let organizers or volunteers know if there are any issues

No festival is complete with out them

Offer perks-early entry, discount on merch, etc.

Provide advance training opportunities to discuss roles/responsibilities and safety measures

Assign duties according to ability & capability

Have short shifts and give breaks in between

It’s better to have an abundance vs. a shortage
