جاهدت مع الله والناس وغلبت
You have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed!
و لما راى انه لا يقدر عليه ضرب حق فخذه فانخلع حق فخذ يعقوب في مصارعته معه. و قال اطلقني لانه قد طلع الفجر فقال لا اطلقك ان لم تباركني. فقال له ما اسمك فقال يعقوب. فقال لا يدعى اسمك في ما بعد يعقوب بل اسرائيل لانك جاهدت مع الله و الناس و قدرت. (تك 32 : 25 – 28)
25- Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. And He said, "Let Me go, for the day breaks" But he said, "I will not let You go unless You bless me!". So He said to him, "What [is] your name?" He said, "Jacob". And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed". (Ge 32 : 25 – 28)

يعقوب يصر أن يلمسه ويراه ويأخذ وعوداً
Jacob insists on touching Him, seeing Him and taking promises from Him.

إلى متى تكتفى بمستوى علاقتك بالمسيح؟
Till when will you be satisfied with your level of relationship with Christ?
حتى متى تكون هناك محبة أخرى تعطل محبة المسيح
Till when will there be another love that hinders the love of Christ?
ايها الزناة و الزواني اما تعلمون ان محبة العالم عداوة لله فمن اراد ان يكون محبا للعالم فقد صار عدوا لله (يع 4 : 4)
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God (Jam 4 : 4)

و بات هناك تلك الليلة و اخذ مما اتى بيده هدية لعيسو اخيه. مئتي عنز و عشرين تيسا مئتي نعجة و عشرين كبشا. ثلاثين ناقة مرضعة و اولادها اربعين بقرة و عشرة ثيران عشرين اتانا و عشرة حمير.
So he lodged there that same night, and took what came to his hand as a present for Esau his brother:. two hundred female goats and twenty male goats, two hundred ewes and twenty rams,. thirty milk camels with their colts, forty cows and ten bulls, twenty female donkeys and ten foals.
و دفعها الى يد عبيده قطيعا قطيعا على حدة و قال لعبيده اجتازوا قدامي و اجعلوا فسحة بين قطيع و قطيع. و امر الاول قائلا اذا صادفك عيسو اخي و سالك قائلا لمن انت و الى اين تذهب و لمن هذا الذي قدامك.
Then he delivered [them] to the hand of his servants, every drove by itself, and said to his servants, "Pass over before me, and put some distance between successive droves". And he commanded the first one, saying, "When Esau my brother meets you and asks you, saying, 'To whom do you belong, and where are you going? Whose [are] these in front of you?'.

تقول لعبدك يعقوب هو هدية مرسلة لسيدي عيسو و ها هو ايضا وراءنا. و امر ايضا الثاني و الثالث و جميع السائرين وراء القطعان قائلا بمثل هذا الكلام تكلمون عيسو حينما تجدونه.
"then you shall say, 'They [are] your servant Jacob's. It [is] a present sent to my lord Esau; and behold, he also [is] behind us' ". So he commanded the second, the third, and all who followed the droves, saying, "In this manner you shall speak to Esau when you find him;.

و تقولون هوذا عبدك يعقوب ايضا وراءنا لانه قال استعطف وجهه بالهدية السائرة امامي و بعد ذلك انظر وجهه عسى ان يرفع وجهي. فاجتازت الهدية قدامه و اما هو فبات تلك الليلة في المحلة. (تك 32 : 13 – 21)
"and also say, 'Behold, your servant Jacob [is] behind us' " For he said, "I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face; perhaps he will accept me". So the present went on over before him, but he himself lodged that night in the camp. (Ge 32 : 13 – 21)

والآن يقدمه كله هدية من أجل السلام
And now he is presenting it all as a gift for peace.
والآن يعطى بلا حساب .. وبتواضع
And now he is giving without account… And with humbleness.
يعقوب عاش يأخذ ولا يحب أن يعطى
Jacob lived to take and did not like to give
يعقوب عاش من أجل الغنى الأرضى
Jacob lived for the earthly richness.

و رفع يعقوب عينيه و نظر و اذا عيسو مقبل و معه اربع مئة رجل فقسم الاولاد على ليئة و على راحيل و على الجاريتين. و وضع الجاريتين و اولادهما اولا و ليئة و اولادها وراءهم و راحيل و يوسف اخيرا. و اما هو فاجتاز قدامهم و سجد الى الارض سبع مرات حتى اقترب الى اخيه. فركض عيسو للقائه و عانقه و وقع على عنقه و قبله و بكيا. (تك 33 : 1 – 4)
Now Jacob lifted his eyes and looked, and there, Esau was coming, and with him were four hundred men. So he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two maidservants. And he put the maidservants and their children in front, Leah and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last. Then he crossed over before them and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother. But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept. (Ge 33 : 1 – 4)
فقال ماذا منك كل هذا الجيش الذي صادفته فقال لاجد نعمة في عيني سيدي. فقال عيسو لي كثير يا اخي ليكن لك الذي لك. فقال يعقوب لا ان وجدت نعمة في عينيك تاخذ هديتي من يدي لاني رايت وجهك كما يرى وجه الله فرضيت علي. خذ بركتي التي اتي بها اليك لان الله قد انعم علي و لي كل شيء و الح عليه فاخذ. (تك 33 : 8 – 11)
Then Esau said, "What [do] you [mean by] all this company which I met?" And he said, "[These are] to find favor in the sight of my lord". But Esau said, "I have enough, my brother; keep what you have for yourself". And Jacob said, "No, please, if I have now found favor in your sight, then receive my present from my hand, inasmuch as I have seen your face as though I had seen the face of God, and you were pleased with me. "Please, take my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough" So he urged him, and he took [it]. (Ge 33 : 8 – 11)
