Important Announcement re: Field Trip

The MB Museum’s Rupert Avenue entrance and foyer are both under construction right now so you will have to enter and exit the building via our Main Street entrance, and our Reception Desk/Box Office is temporarily moved down to the Planetarium/Science Gallery level.

Arrive at 8:50 am

9:00 – 9:45 Presentation/Short Planetarium show

9:45 – 10:30 Science Gallery

10:30 – 11:30 Museum Galleries

*All who are walking to the Manitoba Museum, let’s meet here in our classroom at 8:15 am. Take a moment now to exchange digits with at least one other person in case you are running late (so that we don’t leave without you).

Field Trip to the Manitoba Museum - March

The Museum does not have its own parking lot, however, there are several nearby lots within walking distance:

Surface parking lots on Rupert Ave and Alexander Ave

  • Cash, quarters and dollar coins only

Indoor parkade at the Canada Games Sport for Life Centre on Pacific Ave

  • Cash or card – more details here.

Street metered parking on Rupert Ave, Lily St, and Pacific Ave

  • 2 hours of parking
  • Cash, card or pay by app on your smartphone.

Street metered parking On Waterfront Drive, between MacDonald Ave (close to Higgins Ave) and Alexander Ave

  • 4 hours of parking
  • Cash, card or pay by app on your smart phone.

When visiting on weekends, street metered parking is free for 2 hours on Saturdays and is free all day on Sundays.
