Who Approves CCP Accommodations?

  • The Disability/Accessibility Office at the college will approve all accommodations for CCP Classes.
    • This includes classes on the college campus, at the high school, or online.

  • The student must contact the Office of Disability or Accessibility Services and make an appointment in order to go through the process to be approved for accommodations.

How Do I Get Accommodations?

  1. YOU (the student) must obtain a copy of your documentation.
    1. “Documentation” = a medical professional/psychiatrist/psychologist’s verification of disability OR
    2. IEP/ETR or 504 Plan

  • You will need to call or email Disability/Accessibility Services at the college of your choice to schedule an appointment. You must bring your documentation to this appointment.

  • Appointments can happen in-person, over the phone, or virtually!

What Happens After the Appointment?

  • The student will receive an accommodation letter from the college stating what accommodations have been approved for them.

  • The accommodation letter will be emailed to the CCP instructor or the student will give the instructor a hard copy.
