Building A Checklist
In your production teams:
Brainstorm what you will need on filming day
Don’t forget less-obvious items
Obvious | Less Obvious |
Camera | Food |
Memory cards | Necessary clothing |
Tripod | Fix-it kit |
Microphones | Contact info and / or directions |
Backup and/or charged batteries | Shot list |
Battery charger | Questions list |
Lighting equipment (if needed) | Permissions or release forms |
A shot list is given to the crew and is a list of everything that needs to be recorded on film day.
Make sure you are comfortable with your gear, and that it’s organized and charged.
Create a questions list for your interviewee.
Do you have all the needed permissions and/or release forms?
