Signet Rings for Mold Making

In order to increase our chances of success creating a silicone mold, we need to make the minimum thickness of our rings no less than 3mm.

  • Bottom thickness = 3mm+
  • Signet “dent” = 2mm
  • No curve from the top of the signet ring to the bottom (a straight edge will make things easier)

Critical Reflection

Blog about the following (including one or more pictures and/or videos):

  1. Your experience soldering your MP3 player
  2. Can you think of any ways that the other prototyping tools we’ve already learned about (laser cutter & 3D printer) could be used in conjunction with an Arduino board?
  3. Continue brainstorming ideas for your major project (no decision on your final project need to be made at this time, and you may decide to do something else later in the course)
