Developer II needs access to City's Azure Account #1268

  • Following Alexander’s email earlier today, John confirms access to the Azure account using John.Darragh@lacity.org and Jacob.Rodes@lacity.org as well as password changes to both accounts that he considers strong.

  • However, as he stated, both accounts do not have access to the User Acceptance Test (UAT) environment resources, and he would like to discuss this, as he is unsure if a decision was made to keep the UAT environment resources.

Production site vulnerability #1387

  • In our last meeting, we informed you that the TDM production site was disabled for the dev team to fix the bug that allowed a security vulnerability.
  • Currently, the TDM production site is back up and running. The development team identified and resolved the bug, ensuring that future attacks will be unsuccessful.
  • This video demonstrates the attack before it was fixed.
  • This video demonstrates the thwarted attack after the fix.
  • Please send correspondence regarding the tdm.ladot.lacity.org site to tdm@hackforla.org. If it cannot be subscribed automatically to security alerts, because it requires a lacity.org email address, it should be forwarded to John.Darragh@lacity.org and Jacob.Rodes@lacity.org``
