in a Mock City Council meeting

for hands-on experience on how to observe and participate in local government and board meetings in a League inspired civil, thereby, productive manner.

How to Plan, Organize and Conduct A Forum

• Student-Led Forum on Education in Solano County
• Students determine topic, format and rules of engagement
• Select question committee to formulate and screen questions
• Selected panelists, created invitation letter and maintained communication throughout organizing process
• Selected volunteers-moderator, timekeepers, tech support, hosts
• Performed all logistical aspects of producing a League inspired forum including venue set-up, participant supplies, etc.
