Raging Safari Teams

  • There will hopefully be two teams this year for the boys. Hopefully one full team for the girls
  • Preliminary goal is to have a “Varsity” and “JV” but I want those who are committed to the sport on “Varsity” and those who are looking to learn and have fun on “JV.”

  • Attendance will count. It will be taken every practice and every game. You need to learn how to play before you actually play!

  • Practices typically Mondays and Wednesdays for the boys on CDH campus or a local field, a schedule is created in a Google Doc.
  • Games on Thursdays starting first week of April

  • Weekly emails will be sent to parents with updates and changes or you can check the Schedule on the Google Doc

  • Player Dues

Ultimate Frisbee CDH Website

  • This year we are asking parents/athletes to pay $100 per player at the beginning of the season.
  • This money will pay for the MN Ultimate league fees, tournament fees, State tournament fees, and field space if needed.

  • In addition to the CDH dues, there is also a $38.50 USA Ultimate membership fee.  This will be paid directly to USA Ultimate and can be paid for while registering on MN Ultimate. Pay for registration and sign electronic waivers

  • This year all non-CDH player fees are paid through the Minnesota Ultimate website, Minnesota Ultimate

This is in its third year, the Ultimate registration, MN Ultimate waivers, and team registration are all on the website. I can assist if need be, it is still a little confusing.

Parent Support/Chaperones

  • The most frequently used method for contacting the team is via email or our website (cdhraiders.org).  If players or parents have any questions or concerns throughout the season, please feel free to contact me, ngiles@c-dh.org - I will be doing most of the contacts

  • In the past, Raging Safari has been graced with a fantastic parents, to help support our teams by coordinating chaperones and drivers (for league games and tournaments), and helping to meet other miscellaneous needs. We would be pleased to see parents to continue to be involved—whether it is driving players to games and home, cheering on the sideline, taking photos—anything you feel would benefit the team would be greatly appreciated.

Also, USAU requires teams to have coaches as well as adult chaperones at games and all tournaments. We will be asking for Parent support there as well. Official adult chaperones can sign up and have a background check through USAU, but the sign up is free
