This is my sweet [little] family! I’m married with four kids and two dogs. We live in near Lee’s Summit in Greenwood and enjoy spending time with family and pretty much enjoy any outdoor activity you can think of.

This is my sixth year at RP-NGC and eleventh year teaching. I earned a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education and a Bachelor’s in Biology. I earned my Master’s in Psychology and Counseling.

What learning platforms will my student need?

  • Students will log onto Canvas ← I recommend all students and parents download the app on their phone if possible.

Where do I check grades?

  • Grades will up updated in Tyler SIS (student 360 app) weekly. I also recommend downloading this app as well for easy, quick grade checks.

Will my student need specific supplies for this class?

  • Outside of the normal pencil, paper, calculator, & 3-ring binder or folder (they may leave this in class)

We have enough unpredictability in our world right now. My job is to ensure your student receives quality education consisting of rigorous standards and differentiated lessons to their learning styles.

  • There are no retakes or redos on assignments, tests, or quizzes
  • Study guides may look a little different-->Not in question format
  • Students will track their progress throughout each unit on a mastery chart that lists all of the objectives for the unit.
