Players find five strings, each with a different color and number of knots.

Players find locked box with a three-digit code and a QR code.

The QR Code leads to a Wikipedia article about RBG technology. They realize that only the Red, Green, and Blue strings are important.

The number of knots on each of those strings are the solution to the three-digit code.

Example

In a Big Reveal puzzle, the players earn small elements as they progressing through the game. After they complete the pentultimate puzzle, they then have all the pieces and are able to solve the final puzzle.

For example, players can earn a single number or arrow at various parts in the game. Once they have all the pieces they can complete the final lock.. The small elements can either be locked behind websites, in boxes, or handed out by the facilitator as the game progresses.

In the game, Every Drop Matters, players learn the water levels for all the years except 2012.

​

They then determine that the water is dropping exactly 20% each year. The code 4845312 is used to get into a website.

Example

Each player of a game gets a card that has a game element on it. For example, in a recent game, each player got a card with a number on it and a coordinate position (see example).

�With a UV light they were able to reveal their number.

The element in the top right was a clue letting the players know that they need to translate those numbers using ASCII computer language.

​

When each player inputted their numbers in the correct position on the spreadsheet and each was translated using ASCII code it spelled out a URL and a password.

�The boat and number of hits were elements for later in the game.
