Project tasks:

- create an ecological path on the territory of a preschool educational institution, design environmental points and thematic sites;

- update ideas about the species diversity of plants and animals in the immediate natural environment, its conservation and increase;

- expand ideas about the relationship between living and inanimate nature, the need for its careful use, through the organization of various types of children's activities and forms of work on the ecological path;

- involve pupils and their parents in socially significant actions and activities to preserve nature and take care of its resources, through the use of an ecological path on the territory of a preschool educational institution.

Project aims:

Formation of a literate personality in ecological sphere with practical skills in ecological and environmental protection based on the use of the following trails on the territory of a preschool education institution.

Place of project implementation – 13, Ponomaryov str., Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

Project implementation period – 2 years.

1. Fostering responsible attitude towards nature: early children’s education about environmental protection can help them realize a deep concern for nature and make responsible decisions in the future.

2. Formation of the stable behavior skills: children who received negative ecological education in childhood will be more inclined to sustainable consumption and concern for the environment.

3. Developing a positive attitude towards nature: participation in ecological projects can help children develop a positive attitude towards nature, which, in turn, will contribute to the conservation of biodiversity.

4. Increasing parental literacy: working with pupils can also improve parental literacy and responsibility.

5. Preparing for future challenges: in the face of climate change and environmental problems, it is important to prepare children now to understand and solve environmental problems.

6. Through play to cognition: the effective formation of an environmentally literate personality with practical skills in environmental and ecological protection will be the focus of activities carried out using these paths in the territory of preschool education.

Project Justification:

As part of the project, it is planned to design:

1. designing an ecological point “Weather station“.

2. creation of thematic areas:

- The thematic area “Ecology and Human Health” (children’s outdoor exercise equipment, rubber coating for the sports ground);

- The thematic area “We are for safety in nature” (outdoor equipment in the form of special-purpose vehicles (fire truck), didactic panel “Behavior in Nature”);

- The thematic area “Glade of Eco-Creativity” (musical flowers, vertical xylophone, musical bells, musical cymbals, drum set, musical panel, street xylophone stand, hanging cymbals, multi-purpose benches);

- The thematic area “The World of Voices of Nature” (fairytale house).
