Let’s make a blinking LED together

Think of ‘0’ and ‘GND’ on the MicroBit as the battery you can turn on and off in code

Breadboards are popular for prototyping. When you hover the mouse over it, it will show which holes are connected.

Project: Burglar Alarm

Breakout Rooms

Create a Burglar Alarm

Use the Motion Sensor to trigger the alarm

Consider

  • You only have three input/outputs (0, 1, 2)
  • Use the MicroBit buttons to arm/disarm your alarm system
  • Use the LED as external alarm light (on or blink)
  • Use the Buzzer to scare the burglar off
  • Have a way to reset the alarm
  • ..
