What to Bring to your BNI Meeting?

Question to the Membership: Each week we gather for our BNI meeting — but what are the things we should bring?

Here are a few reminders-

A pen and paper (or a meeting sheet) — to take notes. Avoid using your phone for notes, as it may appear you're distracted.

Referrals or opportunities for other Members.

A Testimonial to recognise great work done by another Member.

A smile and a good sense of humour — it helps energise the room.

Energy! Bring positive vibes to uplift your fellow Members.

Insights from a recent 1-2-1 — share what you’ve learned about another Member.

A prepared Weekly Presentation (60 seconds) — so you stay on point, stay within time, and can focus fully on everyone else’s presentations.

Your attention — be fully present to listen to Education, referral requests, and the Feature Presentation (10-minute presentation), not just focused on your own Weekly Presentatin or distracted by your phone.

A relevant door prize — especially if you’re the Feature Presenter. Aim for something thoughtful and relevant to your business eg a plant and a house magazine if you're an Interior Designer.

Visitors — to show others what BNI delivers for you and your business.

Let’s be intentional about what we bring to the meeting — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. That’s how we all grow, together.
