Here is a video that just helps you get things installed. It uses this presentation as its outline--so the links will work for you on the pages ahead.

Use these links to add two Texthelp extensions:

  1. Read and Write for Google Chrome - Click on the link then press the �“Add to Chrome” button
  2. (We likely will not have time to delve into OrbitNote today.)�Texthelp OrbitNote - Click on the link then press the “Add to Chrome” button

Check that Read & Write for �Google Chrome is installed!

Look for the purple puzzle piece up top, and the �toolbars in Google Docs and Google Slides, and on the web in Google Chrome.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure you are in your work �account
  • Make sure there are no permissions�pages hiding behind your window
  • Make sure there are no little blue “Allow” buttons �hiding below the visible part of your screen
  • You installed it but can’t see the purple puzzle piece? �Click the GREY puzzle piece and pin the extension by �pressing on the pushpin (turns blue)

Check that Read & Write for Google Chrome is a �default app in your Google Drive!

Go to your Google Drive and set up �Read and Write for Google as a default App to open your PDFs. (See video and/or image below)

Settings→Manage apps→ Read and �Write for Google Chrome→ Use by default
