Problem
This is an reference of our our model , uplifting an object , which is manually not possible to grip with 3 fingers generally .
Explain in a few sentences what is the problem that you would like to solve with your soft robot?
The problem that we identified was to grip all kinds of object. Generally in real life if we try to pick up an object through three fingers it's an appropriate to lift all kinds of shape and 3D ones .
What is your understanding of why this problem exists?
This problem exists because this world have different shapes so it's not possible to grip it with 3 fingers generally , so our designed gripper is helpful to overcome this problem easily .
Inspiration
Source of Inspiration
The Inspiration that triggered us to build this model and come beyond building this was
We had been inspired by this video But,instead of using th origami we used rice and sand too , for the gripp . With putting are initial effforts and creativenesss to come with out proper fuuctional object gripper.

Describe your Idea
The video here represent the idea of the model , how does it function , and perform .
How does it work? (describe in a few sentences)
When we operate the kit which involves inflator, deflator, pump, valve and later. When a granular material like sand or rice is loosely packed it can flow almost like a liquid. But when the particles in the material are packed tightly together, as the air is deflated (sucked out completely ) they "jam," or lock into one another.later it holds a grip over the objects and lifted it up .
What problems or needs does it address?
One of the press materials states that the gripper could "outperform robotic fingers when confronted with unfamiliar objects or complex shapes"
Concept name: OBJECT GRIPPER
What do you hope to learn more about through prototyping this idea?
Through prototyping this idea we hope to learn the skills to identify complicated things and solve problems .

Improving your prototype
What are 1 -2 things you will be keep (not change) from your initial prototype? Why?
To not change the proper functioning codes written for Arduino , and invisible pipes . As the performance was good . For the codes if we would change then our kit won’t perform .
What are 1 -2 things that you will be changing/ improving about your prototype? Why?
we’re are replacing the small balloon to big balloon and initially we had added rice inside the balloon for the grip , but now we will be changing by adding Sand in it for better grip . Another problem that came on our way was while manual testing during deflating air , the rice / sand would pass out and enter inside the mouth . To overcome this in between we divided the pipes in two and added one bottle so that sand /rice would get collected in it.

Final Design
<Insert picture/ video of final design>
This is our final Design the output of our project .This is an object gripper which uplifts complex shapes . Increases the functionality of the work load .
Reflection & Learning
Reflecting on our project , discussions and learning .
If you had the chance, how would you improve your current design? Share 1-2 specific changes you would make and why?
By decorating it , an enhancement to our project .
What are you most proud of?
We were most proud of that we could resolve the problem . As its now easy to gripp over complex shapes easily
What did you find most challenging about this project?
The most challenging in our project was to the coding and completing our proper kit with alignment of wires .
When you ran into a problem how did you fix it?
By keeping ourselves calm , visualising the problem , starting over again by deeper understandings and clearity .
