Modular OER Content Types

The content you can create can be small, medium, or long form.

Each modular content type can also be nested within a larger content type.

There are currently 3 content types available for more on the way:

  • H5P
  • Lessons
  • Modules
  • Epics *
  • Quizzes *
  • Video Series *

Remix and adapt resources

Each resource type can easily be remixed with a click of a button.

Remixed resources maintain a reference to the original work and author.

Members can share their adaptations of your resources with you.

  • Remix a resource to make it your own
  • Automatic reference to the original work
  • Members can share their adaptations of a resource with the author

Promote your work and Portfolio

Members can share their story, achievements, and highlights to inspire their fellow educators and designers.

Easily find and connect with experts on different subjects.

  • Each members has a portfolio they can use to highlight their work.
  • There is a framework for a meritocratic system for granting points for sharing.

Idea & knowledge exchange

Easily find and collect OER created by others. There are plenty of opportunities to engage in discussions or other interactions that can lead to a more sharing ecosystem.

  • Post comments and discussions for resources
  • Report your adaptations of a resource
  • Browse through networks and hubs for resources

Open & Collaborative workspaces

A workspace provides a central location for members to join forces and tackle instructional needs together.

You can also create InClass Workspaces and use our platform to engage your students in active learning OER activities.

  • Join groups of members on a specific instructional need.
  • Discuss and organise the group effort.
  • Share the outcomes from the group effort.
