We are more divided as a nation than we have been in 70 years.

The 2018 midterm elections will be a referendum on Trump’s policies, and immigration will be among the top issues that voters will be weighing in on.

Census - It is how we measure justice and democracy

Conducting the Census is an enormous responsibility, enshrined in our Constitution

Represents 600 billion / Voting / Policy / jobs

This Administration has recently decided to add a question on citizenship status to the census form.

Constitutional Convention -

Requires 2/3 of states

27 states have signed on need 34 for balance budget

Currently our Constitution provides no instruction for how a constitutional convention would even work. We have no basis for determining which issues will be considered, who can run as a delegate, or even how much it will cost.

More divided nationally, but not locally

Over 75% have little to no faith in federal government / 75% have high or absolute faith in local government
And while national rhetoric and division has soared… There has been little if any change in the core political stance of Americans

By 2040 POC will be the majority in the country –

This doesn’t represent a power shift by itself, but it does create a different set of opportunities
