My department has done an exceptional job this year in supporting our students during what has been a crazy year. The professionalism shown by both my teachers and paraprofessionals has been second to none and our students are making it through as a result of this hard work. Through the passing of a colleague to our students struggling with every facet of distance learning, the department has continued to preserver. And for this I am proud of our group.

Mr. Haskett has been great during distance learning because he takes his time on students during tutorial when they don’t understand something. He never rushes and makes sure they grasp what he’s explaining.
Ms. Mallory shows appreciation for students’ efforts.
Mrs. Perez-Sanchez does a good job of slowing down in class and being patient with us if we ask for help.
Mr. Coonce reached out to me and helped me get a good grade on a test.

Ms Leo (AP Lang) is great at responding to students over email really quickly so it’s really easy to get answers and talk to her.
I love the way Mr. Sessions teaches.

A positive experience was when my teacher let me have my camera off at the beginning of class because I had a panic attack and needed to calm down. It was very nice to be allowed to calm down before fully participating.
Coach K is really good at communicating during these times and helping out with assignments.
Mr. Batz is really good at helping out during assignments and labs that we do in class and adapting to zoom.
Mrs. McLellan can emotionally connect with a student which in my view is a great quality about a teacher.
