St. Davids Day Ksusha
I'd like to tell you about the British tradition called St. Davids Day. The festival takes place on the first of March in Wales. People celebrate this day because it has been officially recognized as the national day of the Welsh. Besides, it is celebrated in honor of David's death. People usually hold parades in memory of St. David. The largest of them is the parade in Cardiff, in which, in particular, the Royal Welsh take part. I would like to visit the celebration because I want to see the parade. Also, I want to see how it goes.
The Trooping of the Colour Karina
I'd like to tell you about the British tradition called the Trooping of the Colour. It takes place on the 2d of June in London. People celebrate this day because King Edward VII was born in November, but he decided to celebrate his second birthday in June. At 10 am people watch the parade, which ends with fireworks. I would like to visit the celebration because I think it is beautiful and I want to learn more about this holiday.
Guy Fawkes Day Margarita
I'd like to tell you about the British tradition called Guy Fawkes Day. The event takes place on the 5th of November in England. All over the country people build wooden fires in the gardens. On the top of each bonfire there is the figure of Guy Fawkes. He wanted to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill the King James first and his minister.Before November the 5th children use their guys to make money. They stand in the street and shout Penny for the guy.

The State Opening of Parliament Sasha
I'd like to tell you about the British tradition called the State Opening of Parliament. It takes place in October or November. This festival has been over 500 years. Traditionally the King travels from Buckingham Palace to the Houses of Parliament in gold carriage. At the Houses of Parliament he sits on a throne and reads the Speech. I would like to visit the celebration because it impressed me and I want to see it my own eyes.

I'd like to tell you about the British tradition called The Lord Mayor's Show.The Lord Mayor's Show is one of the best known annual events in London,which dates back to 1535 The Lord Mayor is that of the City of London, the historic centre of London that is now the financial district. A new Lord Mayor is appointed every year and the public parade reflects that the Lord Mayor is the most important person in London after the Queen.

The festival takes place every year. People celebrate this day because they want to save old tradition.People wear special clothing.The dance depicted the battle between Saracen Moors and Christian knights, so the participants blackened their faces, tied bells to their feet and pranced with fake swords. I would like to visit the celebration because i want to watch this festival and soak up the British atmosphere.

I’d like to tell you about British tradition called English Cheese Rolling.The event takes place on the last Monday of May at 12:00 as part of the Spring Festival on Cooper's Hill, near Gloucester in the Cotswolds, England.People celebrate this day because they celebrate the coming of the New Year after winter. People usually climb to the top of the hill and wait for the signal. Then a Gloucester cheese head is allowed to roll down the slope, after which all participants rush in pursuit. The one who crossed the finish line first and grabbed the cheese gets it as a prize.I would like to visit the celebration because I want to keep good memories about the event.
