We all find ourselves drawn to certain types of books because they speak to a belief, a custom, a way of life that we hold dear and / or revere. What books have you read, or are reading, that speak to your culture? Is there something about the way people relate to and interact with each other that resonates with you? On the other hand, do you find yourself not agreeing, or connecting, with the culture in your novel?
