I am from my headphones, sneakers and journal,

I am from Latino culture, good music and

joyful summers spent outdoors in community

I am from making empanadillas in the

kitchen with my grandmother

I am from “tell me who you go with and I will tell you who you are,”

From “kindness makes the world a better place”

I am from the PR even if it is far from me now

I am from one dollar pizza slices and slushies,

And people watching in the park
