Connecting the System

Identify essential learning, teach, differentiate, and check understanding.

Examine formative assessments, student work, student input, and broader indicators such as grades..

Adjust classroom instruction and match students with reteaching, targeted intervention, additional support, or extension.

Check learning again and decide whether to continue, change, intensify, or conclude the support.

Use what teachers learn to improve classroom instruction.

What we learned & What we are still building

Students need guidance to make purposeful choices.

Predictable posting and enrollment deadlines make flexible scheduling manageable.

Teacher review of rosters helps correct inappropriate placements.

A scheduled intervention needs a specific learning goal and a way to check progress.

Staff and student feedback should lead to visible adjustments.

Coaching, collaboration, and shared leadership sustain the system.

Our next phase is strengthening the connection among formative assessment, PLT decisions, targeted support, and progress monitoring.
