Dear Parents and Guardians,
I trust you had a wonderful break with family and friends and are refreshed to take on the next two weeks ahead.
Holiday Reading: A Message from the Director
As we enter the holiday season, we encourage all students to remain engaged in reading. Regular reading strengthens comprehension, builds language skills, and nurtures curiosity — all core components of the IB learning journey.
Our teachers will support students in selecting meaningful books before the break. To assist families, we have included a recommended reading list for Grades 1–12 featuring diverse, engaging titles together which you may find helpful if you traveling to countries where reading material s more accessible to you.

The next Board Meeting is on December 04th at 6:00.. Please note that this is a closed meeting and the focus is on budget for the SY 2026/27.

Let’s Come and Celebrate Talents!
Our performers and artists are excited to welcome you this Friday. We hope you can join us on campus for the Jingles and Joy Festival, beginning at 2:00 PM in the AISOY Gym.
With December comes a season of sharing. As previously communicated, the NHS is collecting food donations, while STUCO is running an Angel Drive—purchasing gifts for orphans and sharing them before the holidays.
We hope you’ll be able to support these meaningful school initiatives and assist your child in participating.
Next week, PYP (KG–G5) will enjoy a House Teams Games Morning
on the AISOY field.
You are warmly invited to come in
your child’s house color and cheer them on.
The event will take place on Thursday, December 11th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM @AISOY Field.

PARENT WEEKLY COMMUNIQUÉ - DECEMBER 01-05
Winter Holidays around the World- Mme Armandine
We would love to build an interactive “Winter holidays around the world” display in front of the MPR to recognize all the holidays celebrated in our school community this season.
We are looking for families who would be willing to create a sign (A4 format) about the holiday(s) they celebrate at home.
The sign would have to include:
A small blurb (a few sentences) explaining what the holiday is and its origin, how you usually celebrate it, and the symbols of that holiday (bonus points if you write it in your home language(s)!
Signs need to be sent through email (ajutier@aisoy.org) or brought to Mme Amandine in Room 2 before December 4.
Global Essay Competition- Mr Karan Kapoor
The school-level selection for the Yale International Relations Global Essay Competition is taking place this week. Interested students have already registered and are submitting their essays by 3rd December. Results of the internal selection will be announced on 10th December.
You may view the official competition brochure here:
