Sensor Type: Ruthenium Oxide Resistor

Temperature Range: 0.05 K to 40.0 K

This will be useful, especially for the temperature range of 0.05 to 0.5 K where the tower thermometer is less reliable.

Calibration technique

  • The labview VI which records our thermometer readings uses a calibration function to convert resistance to temperature
  • This thermometer has three sets of Chebychev polynomial functions to interpolate the temperature curve.
  • OmniLogger.VI is copied to OmniLogger Coly.VI to do this modifications.
