A board game

The text

• The text was written by Alex Valkova, Adrian, Pepi, Misho, Patrick, Alex Vlaskovski and was edited by Vladi.

The Rules

• There is a board, a dice, a set of questions and four copies of the story and four pieces to play with.
•     At the start of the game each player is given 1 sheet of paper on which the text is printed. They have 5 minutes to read it. When the time is up the sheets of paper are collected and the game begins. The players have to answer questions about the text as they play along.
•    When the players step on a blue playing field, they must draw a card and answer a vocabulary question. If their answer is true, they save the card, but if their answer is false, they return the card and miss a turn (This applies to all questions). If the players step on a pink playing field, they have to answer story questions. And if the players step on a yellow playing field, they have to answer grammar questions.
• The winners of the game are those players who have the most cards (the most questions answered correctly) and the one who first reaches the finish. (Tanya)

The board

This is game board. Different parts of the story are illustrated on it. Pepi made the board and drew the pictures on it. The squares match the colours of the question cards.

The cards

• There are three types of cards – grammar (yellow), vocabulary (blue) and story questions (pink). There is a question on each card which the players have to answer in order to move forward on the board. The cards were made by Ema, Tanya, Alex Valkova and Victor.

The Pieces

These are the pieces for the game. They are some of the

characters from the story. They are made of air dry clay and they were made by Ema.
