  • Ask these questions with someone you don’t normally chat with:�

Review Game

  • There will be three stacks of cards, Black, White, and Orange. Black cards are asking students culture questions. White cards ask students to describe the famous Deaf individual and Orange cards ask students to give the 5 parameters of the sign printed on the card.�
  • Have each student pick out a letter from the banana bag to represent their game piece�
  • Students will start with all pieces at the “Start” tile�
  • Have the oldest student roll the die and move their piece the respective amount of tiles�
  • Students will then pick up the same color card which they landed on and complete the task�
  • If students land on a red tile, have them move their piece back two spaces

Orange: Vocabulary

  • For these cards, please describe the 5 parameters of the word. These parameters are as follows:
    • Hand shape
    • Location
    • Movement
    • Orientation (palm orientation)
    • "Facial Expressions" and/or "Non-manual Markers.

White: Description

  • For these cards, the students must fingerspell the person's name, describe the individuals physical appearance, their job, and their clothing if pictured�
  • If you forget to describe anything, you lose your next turn

Black: Culture

  • The students must sign the sentence on the card and then answer the question correctly

  • Also, we do have labs during dead week, but not during finals week!
