Introduction

We teach a Math 1 C-STEM lab class.

• All students are concurrently enrolled in a Math 1 (integrated Math 1) class.
• The class is only offered to current 9th graders.
• The students were identified as needing a lab and were able to choose between a traditional math lab class or a C-STEM math lab.
• We currently offer 4 C-STEM math labs and 1 traditional lab class.

Class structure

Google Classroom

• Pre- and post-tests through google forms
• send links through google classroom with announcements
• Assignments through google classroom
• created documents for assignments and left spaces for screenshots
• at the top of every assignment we put the links to the presentations, the powerpoints and the textbook section

• We’ll review the list of submission and discuss the reasoning

• You will be required to submit your descriptions for each Bongard Problem we complete
• Once you have typed a description give me a thumbs up as a sign you are finished and ready to move to the next description
