About Laboratory

Sensor & Transducer laboratory provides a practical learning environment where students explore the fascinating world of sensors and transducers. These devices play a crucial role in modern technology, transforming physical quantities like temperature, pressure, light, and motion into electrical signals that can be measured, analysed, and controlled.

In Sensor & Transducer lab students gain hands-on experience with a variety of sensor types, including:

Temperature sensors: Thermocouples, RTDs, Thermistors

Pressure sensors: Pressure Gauges, Strain Gauges

Light sensors: Photo Resistors, Photodiodes, Phototransistors

Motion sensors: Accelerometers, Gyroscopes

Bridges: Wheatstone Bridge, Maxwell Bridge, Kelvin Bridge
