Go to gtc.edu/library and select Subject Guides

Select “Nursing” from the list

Select “Find Nursing Articles” from the tabs across the top

Keep this checklist handy as you browse articles to be aware of what to look for!

Let’s Search the Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health (CINAHL)!

Enter “nursing” in the first search box and the next search word(s) in the remaining box(es). Click “search.”

On the results page, select “All filters,” then “Publication Date,” and choose your date range. Click “Apply.”

Scroll through results until you find an article you’d like

to investigate.

Read the abstract, then select “PDF Full Text” to see the full article.

From there, you can print or download the article to email to your instructor.

You can also choose “cite” to generate a citation.

Once in the full-text article, you can use the toolbar in the upper right to cite, download, print, and more.

Copy and paste the citation* into a blank document or email it to yourself.
