Cheer for Nodaway Valley

  • Be positive towards our school and the opposing school
  • Cheer for good plays and DO NOT “booooo” for poor plays or calls
  • Don’t “heckle” the other team

Show Good Sportsmanship

  • Be supportive of the players
  • Be polite to everyone at the event (home team and opposing team)
  • Congratulate both teams at the end

Watch the Game

  • You are there to watch the game and support the teams
  • You are NOT there to…
    • Wander around
    • Play “pick up” games on the hills
    • Cause problems with the fans or spectators

Stay in the Stands

  • Use the restroom
  • Get food from the concessions
  • Do NOT wander around the grounds
  • Use the bleachers properly; do not sit in walkways

Clean Up After Yourself

  • If you drop something, pick it up and throw it away
  • Custodians should not clean up after you
