Conferences are mediums that gathers our membership and through which they can upscale their organisational knowledge and skills. As an result, these internal events are a platform in which companies showcase their unique mission and culture, thus brand positioning as a top place employer.

Make an analysis based the needs of the companies as well as your membership. When it comes to what companies are looking for, gather data such as age, academical background, linguistic ski information when it comes to what type of content they expect from the partners as well as elements of organisational culture they are interested in. Check for the skills that company seek for

Search for the set of hard/soft skills that employers are looking for in candidates annually. Then make an analysis comparing those skills with the ones that our membership are developing through their JDs.

Showcase the alumni’s successful stories

AIESEC has one of the biggest alumni community when it comes to NGOs and other similar organisations. Most of them managed either to develop their one business or reached a higher role in the workfield. Gather these stories and expose them to the partners to understand the relevancy of our membership.

Create a nurturing plan

While the ROI from this kind of partnership may not be so visible in the very beginning, it is important to understand how to nurture the partnership so that the company can “grow” next to the AIESECers. Explain to the companies that the outcome can be greater if they are consecvent in attending more conferences so the members get used to their organisational culture.
