Gali Baharav-Miara the current Attorney General of Israel

We wanted to talk about this subject because we think that women are equal to men and are capable of much more than expected. Our goal is to raise awareness by talking about this subject.

Feminist movement

Change

Inequality between women and men has existed for thousands of years, but the feminist movement has been trying to change it especially from the 19th century onwards.

In the past the men had to work to support the family and women had to stay home taking care of cleaning and the children. That is where the traditional roles of men and women started.

2) Prejudices against women are also described in the story.

From the very first paragraph, the narrator expresses his negative feelings about the man with whom he has to share a cabin on the ship. Later, we learn that he dislikes Mr. Kelda's name, his things, his looks, his manners and even his pride in being British.

Before 7/10 placement of women in combat positions in the army were limited with the thought that a woman is not as strong as a man, less fit, less emotionally strong and less brave. Just like the army heedless the ability of women just because they are women, so the narrator shows that Mr. Kelda is based on prejudices and judges people very quickly.

The difference is that the story is based on racism and we are talking about prejudice.

Although these two topics are close to each other, there is still a difference between them..

There are several strategies to fight discrimination and promote equal pay:

  • 1. Establish laws that protect equal pay and prevent this discrimination.
  • 2. Promote programs that provide women with equal opportunities in the labor market.
  • 3. Publication of advertisements on radio and television to promote equality between women and men.

Saying-"Women's rights are human rights, and every individual deserves equality, dignity, and freedom."

Song-

We chose the song “Run the World (Girls)” performed by Beyoncé. It is a song with a gender statement because it breaks the myth that women should be dominated by men and that they are weaker than men.

The main message of the song is that girls rule the world they don’t need men to help them or take over. They are equal to men and can do everything without any help.

This message is conveyed both in the lyrics of the song and in the clip where you see a group of girls managing to outwit a group of boys.

From the translation of the song, it can be understood that it affirms that girls rule the world.
