WALT remember our times tables up to 10 x 10 instantly.

This week:

  • Know your 2, 5 and 10 times tables? Awesome! Next it’s 3, 4 and 9. Then, 6, 7 and 8.
  • Decide which times table you need to learn this week.
  • Be confident before you move on. We all learn things at a different pace.
  • Grab some headphones and listen to the song for that times table 2-3 times.

Each day:

  1. Write out your times table in one column in your Maths book. For example:

1 x 2 = 2

2 x 2 = 4

3 x 2 = 6

4 x 2 = 8

5 x 2 = 10

6 x 2 = 12

7 x 2 = 14

8 x 2 = 16

9 x 2 = 18

10 x 2 = 20

2. Read each fact and say it in

your head.

3. Write the times table out in your

Maths books two more times.

3. Cover the answers for each fact.

Read and say each fact without

looking at the answer. Check your

answer.

5. Test your buddy.

On Friday:

  • Either
    • Ask Mrs Buchanan to record you saying your times table, or
    • Using your Chromebook, video yourself saying your times table.

“I am learning my ……. times table. Here we go!

1 x …. is …… “ and carry on recording up to 10.

We will share this on your blog.
