• Friends thoughtfully shared tea bags with me to pass along to colleagues at EMC/NOAA.
• The friendships formed with my 1979 Climate classmates have been a lasting blessing. They taught me how to cook eggs during the summer of 2025 when Yuhua was in China, and they continue to inspire and support me today, encouraging me to run again and maintain a positive outlook while living with Parkinson's disease.

For this slide, the current caption:

Yongzuo Traveled to China for seeing Jing He

is understandable, but not natural English.

Here are some improved versions:

Option 1 (simple and professional)

Yongzuo Traveled to China to Visit Jing He

Option 2 (more personal)

A Special Journey to China to Visit Jing He

Option 3 (emphasizing friendship)

Yongzuo's Trip to China to Reconnect with Jing He

Option 4 (telling the story)

Visiting Jing He in Hunan, China – April 2026

Option 5 (highlighting recovery and friendship)

A Friendship Renewed: Visiting Jing He in China

Option 6 (best for a biography presentation)

Yongzuo Returned to China to Visit His Longtime Friend Jing He

Since the slide shows the train station, travel route, and WeChat messages, I would recommend:

Yongzuo Returned to China to Visit His Longtime Friend Jing He

or simply:

Yongzuo Traveled to China to Visit Jing He

Both sound natural and professional in a PowerPoint presentation.

Yongzuo China Trip

3/26/2026 - 4/8/2026

• The video depicts a journey and a heartfelt declaration of love, following this chronological progression.
• The Journey Begins: The video starts with themes of adventure, encouraging the viewer to "pack your dreams" and "hit the road". The journey is characterized by "golden roads" and a clear sky, representing a sense of fearlessness and freedom. Even without a map, the speaker expresses a willingness to "chase the sun into the night".
• Declaration of Love: The focus shifts to an intimate expression of affection toward a partner. The speaker compliments the partner's style and smile, affirming their beauty and stating that they are the sole focus of their attention.
• Commitment: The speaker reaffirms their love, describing it as "very true" and declaring the partner to be their "heart" and "life". The video concludes with a proposal, as the speaker asks the partner to be their wife and pleads with them not to refuse.
• Revelation 21:2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

Encouragement from Classmates in China 24/7

Good morning everyone in Houston, I am Yongzuo. I am very sorry that I was not able to touch any of you after I got Houston Saturday 2/21/2026 and Sunday 2/22/2026. Time was tight. Physical was tired. Fortunately Yuhua drove the big car from hotel to rental car return at about 4:00am Sunday smoothly. And we then sat down on seats of the Frontier airline that brought us to BWI, Baltimore, MD.

My tears flowed down like a river on my face when I recalled the time back to 1998. Dr. Patrick Fitzpatrick and I met accidentally in his seminar at AOML in Miami in 1998. Then he was my supervisor for about 10 years. With his support, my family and I had a good opportunity to rebuild our self. Now he is a meteorology professor at TX A&M at Corpus Christi and I am an ERT/NOAA ocean scientist. He pulled me towards him to make a seamless hug when I opened the door of his seminar class room at TX A&M at Corpus Christi Friday 2/20/2026.

Romans 1 ¹⁴ I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. ¹⁵ That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. ¹⁷ For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
