How to Register for AMA Spring Opportunities
Steps to Help Register Chapter Teams or Individuals for Spring Competitions
Competition sign-up can be completed either by an individual student or by a designated team lead from your chapter. If a team lead is submitting on behalf of others and the competition requires individual participant details, please ensure the designated team lead is prepared to provide the following information for each team member they sign up for a competition:

Spring Competitions Are In-Person at the International Collegiate Conference (ICC)

Case Competition Winner’s Showcase: This year-long academic competition brings together top marketing students to collaborate as a chapter team to solve a real-world business challenge and finalists present in-person at ICC. Attend the Case Competition Winner’s Showcase and gain some helpful insights & best practices. Individual/Team Based: Chapter Team Based Open To: AMA Chapters/AMA Student Members Intent to Participate Will Open: Fall 2026 Full Written Case Due: Early December 2026 | Marketplace Simulations Competition: This in-person competition will put your team at the helm of your own marketing department for an up-and-coming niche bicycle industry. You will compete against other schools, putting your skills to the test to become the industry leader! Individual/Team Based: Team Based (3-5 members) Open To: AMA Chapters/AMA Student Members Sign Up to Open: January 26, 2026 Sign Up to Close: February 11, 2026 |

Spring Competitions Are In-Person at the International Collegiate Conference (ICC)

This in-person competition will take place at the AMA International Collegiate Conference (ICC). The Design Lab Marketing Competition will be a two-hour engaging session in which teams compete against each other as they design and create a creative marketing strategy plan. Note: One (1) team per chapter. Individual/Team Based: Team Based (3-5 members) Open To: AMA Chapters/AMA Student Undergrad Members Sign Up to Open: January 26, 2026 Sign Up to Close: February 11, 2026 | Digital Marketing Competition: This in-person competition will take place at the AMA International Collegiate Conference (ICC). The Digital Marketing Competition will challenge Teams to create digital marketing strategies based on a real-world challenge. Note: One (1) team per chapter. Individual/Team Based: Team Based (3-5 members) Open To: AMA Chapters/AMA Student Undergrad Members Sign Up to Open: January 26, 2026 Sign Up to Close: February 11, 2026 |

This in-person competition is a 90-second interview in which you position yourself as being “right for the job.” The end goal is to move forward to the next step in the hiring process. Note: This competition allows chapters to register multiple students and will be based on capacity. Individual/Team Based: Individual Open To: AMA Chapters/AMA Student Undergrad Members Sign Up to Open: January 26, 2026 Sign Up to Close: February 11, 2026 | Marketing Strategy Competition: This in-person competition will challenge your team of two’s wit, speed and presentation skills. You will receive a marketing challenge brief 30 minutes before your presentation time, and you will use your knowledge and experience to present a case solution quickly. Note: One (1) Team per chapter. Individual/Team Based: Team Based (2 Students) Open To: AMA Chapters/AMA Student Undergrad Members Sign Up to Open: January 26, 2026 Sign Up to Close: February 11, 2026 |

It is an ideal opportunity to compete one-on-one against other marketing students and test your ability to close a sale! Note: Competition has limited slots and we allocate based on sign up timestamps. Competition allows chapters to register multiple students, and will be based on capacity. Here’s your chance to present at ICC! The Faculty Research Presentation sessions offers a dynamic and engaging opportunity to present and share your research with peers and colleagues in a fun, interactive setting. Spark conversations, gain feedback, and be part of the academic excitement while attending ICC. Call to Present at ICC Open To: Faculty Call Opens: September 15, 2025 Extend Deadline: January 28, 2026 | Undergraduate Research Poster: Showcase your marketing research, whether it’s from class projects, client consulting, or from industry work. Participation also presents an avenue to pursue ICC travel funding from your institution.
