As leaders representing the Penn Wood High School Student Body, we feel that having a Media Room would be an invaluable addition to our school. We hope that the Media Room can serve as a place of relaxation while also providing access to numerous resources for students to utilize.

  • As a dedicated student, she completes every assignment and respects the daily reinforcement provided for her success.
  • She enjoys participating in social activities and interacting with other 4th graders.

  • She is a natural leader, other students gravitate to her kindness and generosity. She works well her peers.
  • She is a calming presence and exudes patience, was able to tutor a second grade student this year.

  • Adriana has made great strides this year both academically and behaviorally.
  • Adriana Welch takes a leadership role in her classroom on a daily basis.

Wilber Olivet-Suchite

7th Grade

  • Wilber has earned Distinguished Honor Roll for all three marking periods. He has maintained a GPA of 4.0 in each quarter.

  • Wilber is bilingual and supports our Spanish speaking students. He has gone above and beyond for his classmates both in and outside the classroom.

  • Wilber is kind, courteous and a overall great student. He consistently demonstrates Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Safety and Excellence (R.A.I.S.E) here at Penn Wood Middle School.

Bryan Thelisma

  • Bryan is an honor roll and AP student
  • Bryan has a 4.4 GPA and is consistently ranked in the top ten of his class
  • Bryan does our morning announcements and does it with such great enthusiasm that it is a great way for everyone to start the day

Congratulations…

To the PWHS track & field team for winning the DelVal Championships in both the boys and girls divisions

  • At Districts, Kivaleon Clarke was third in the triple jump and Terry Dweh was fifth in the 300m hurdles, both qualifying for the state championships.
  • They had fourteen first place finishes and qualified in nine events for the District I PIAA championships.
  • Congrats to the coaches and team on a great season! Good luck at States!

  • Who was named the Rotary Student of the Year by the Rotary Club Upper Darby/Lansdowne.

  • On May 23, she will be honored at a luncheon and receive a $1,500 scholarship.
