Lengthened Articulation

When two of the same, or geminate, consonants come together as a result of the juxtaposition of two words, there is a single and elongated articulation of the consonant.

Resyllabification in CC + V sequences

When a word or syllable terminating in a consonant cluster is followed by a word or syllable commencing with a vowel, the final consonant of the cluster is often pronounced as part of the following syllable.

  1. Find students who relate to the sentences on your Bingo sheet.
  2. That person will put their name/initials on that square on your Bingo sheet.
  3. Yell “BINGO!” if you have five squares in a row. Tell the class which students signed the squares on your Bingo sheet.
